The Oklahoma chapter of SPJ will honor Muskogee Media (communications department for the Muskogee [Creek] Nation) with the annual First Amendment Award. Janet Pearson of the Tulsa World will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while teacher of the year is Bartlesville High School journalism instructor Darla Tresnor.
