Jones PR is leading strategic public relations and communications efforts for the renovation and revitalization effort at the historic Skirvin Hotel, which many consider the top hotel in Oklahoma City.
Owners of the iconic hotel are spending $4.3 million on the project, scheduled for completion this fall.

The Skirvin Hilton Hotel ownership said they would rely on Jones PR for strategic counsel, content marketing, community outreach and media services to showcase its prestigious brand and luxurious property.

U.S. News & World Report recognized The Skirvin Hilton Hotel as one of the 2014 Best Hotels in the USA, ranking as the #1 Hotel in Oklahoma City and the state of Oklahoma. The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was named one of the best hotel meeting destinations, receiving a prestigious Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings.
The Skirvin originally opened in 1911 and is know for five generations of history — hosting oil barons, dignitaries, movie stars, political leaders and presidents ever since. In 2007, Skirvin Partners in Development, Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Hilton set out to return the hotel to its original glory. The reopening event was designated an official Oklahoma Centennial event. The facility has earned a AAA Four Diamond rating every year and received the Mayor’s Development Award for best downtown development.
The Skirvin Hilton Hotel is owned and operated by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Skirvin Partners in Development. The hotel features 225 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, including 20 one-bedroom suites, one presidential suite and 18,500 square feet of premiere meeting and pre-function space. It is home to the upscale Park Avenue Grill restaurant and Red Piano lounge.
