The Paseo Arts District’s First Friday Gallery Walk for April will take place Friday, April 3 from 6 – 10 p.m. The Gallery Walk will have 20 galleries open featuring 75 artists who will host opening receptions, promising something for everyone., said Amanda Bleakley. Each First Friday, Paseo galleries offer guest artists’ exhibits, refreshments, live music and food trucks. The Paseo Art Space will be featuring The SmallArt Show, opening reception. The SmallArt Show will showcase small, original art for the beginning collector. The show will feature artwork in various types of media.
Guitarist Pat Griffin will be preforming in the district. He will be playing live in the streets from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Paseo, Oklahoma City’s historic arts district is OKC’s unique arts destination. Dozens of galleries, three restaurants and a handful of shops stand in distinctive Spanish Mission Revival style buildings, all within walking distance. Once you visit for a First Friday Gallery Walk, you will want to linger for the Paseo’s unique atmosphere. The Paseo Arts District is located between Northwest 30 and 27 streets and Walker and Hudson.
