The Riata Center for Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business is hosting the 2nd annual Women Entrepreneurs Inspire (“WE Inspire”) Conference April 5 in downtown Oklahoma City.
The one-day symposium will be held from 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
WE Inspire 2011 will explore the challenges women face with their business ventures. The annual event is designed to equip women with the resources they need to turn their business ideas into workable business models, helping them create their own companies, and making their ventures sustainable.
This year’s conference will feature more than 30 leading women entrepreneurs and subject matter experts from across the nation and across the State of Oklahoma in keynote sessions and hands-on breakout sessions that examine a broad range of practical issues.
Women are founding the fastest growing segment of small business start-ups in the nation. More than 650 women attended last year’s inaugural conference, organizers say.
