Career Fair set for March at Cox Convention Center

Staff report

On Tues., March 1, the Cox Convention Center will host a large career fair for college students and graduates, organizers said.

The event is scheduled from noon to 4:30 p.m.

The fair is designed to give new graduates and unemployed adults an opportunity to find employment. It also gives exhibitors a shot at a high-quality pool of prospective college students and graduates.

Exhibiting companies will be promoted on college campuses across the state.

Organizations can sign up for the event for $400 before Feb. 18 and $500 after February 18.  Certain non-profits qualify for a $200 rate.

Last year’s Greater Grads Career Fair attracted nearly 100 Oklahoma employers and 1,000 students from across the state.

The 2011 Greater Grads Career Fair is expected to attract an abundance of prospective workers as well.
